About The TENG Company Ltd.
The TENG Company Ltd is a leading not-for-profit arts company focused on the development of a Singaporean musical identity, bringing together culturally and actively giving back to our community, through outreach and education.
TENG composes and performs on Chinese and Western instruments, nurturing musical interests in young musicians through its Chinese Music Instrumental Grading Examinations and scholarships. We believe the experience of live music can soothe the soul. As Friedrich Nietzsche observed, “Without music, life would be a mistake.”
TENG also makes the healing effects of a familiar music accessible, engaging actively with Singapore’s elderly and infirm by performing in their care homes, dialysis centres, hospitals and hospices. Since 2018, The TENG Gives Back series has made its rounds at NKF Dialysis Centres, Dover Park Hospice, NKF Dialysis Centres, Ren Ci Community Hospital, Assisi Hospice and Tan Tock Seng Hospital, reaching out to more than 4,000 chronically or terminally ill patients and their caregivers.

鼟乐团是新加坡一支领先的非盈利艺术团体，专注与发展和培养我国在音乐方面独有的身份。我们积极回馈社会，将音乐带入邻里、在教育上做出努力，让我们在文化方面相互融合。
鼟乐团使用华乐乐器和现代西方乐器演奏，并通过乐器考级和奖学金计划培养年轻音乐家对音乐的兴趣。 我们深信音乐能够抚慰心灵。 正如尼采所说“生活中少了音乐，将成了一个错误。”
我们也将乐团带到全岛各地的养老院、洗肾中心、医院和慈怀中心，让熟悉的音乐带来治愈和抚慰心灵的效果。自2018年以来，乐团也通过TENG Gives Back系列到全国洗肾中心、托福园、仁慈社区医院、雅西西慈怀病院和陈笃生医院巡回演出，让超过4,000名慢性或绝症患者和他们的看护人受益。
