Mr. Lee Chong Min is the Executive Chairman of CMIA Capital Partners Pte. Ltd. (www.cmia.com), a licensed investment firm based in Singapore specializing in private equity investments across China and Southeast Asia, with a core focus on the digital economy, consumer, and technology sectors.
Under Mr. Lee’s leadership, CMIA is the controlling shareholder in Bitsmedia Pte. Ltd. (www.bitsmedia.com), a Singapore-headquartered technology company globally recognized as the creator of Muslim Pro, the leading Muslim lifestyle mobile app with over 150 million downloads worldwide. CMIA is also the largest shareholder in The 1916 Company (www.The1916Company.com), a global leader in collectible luxury watches and fine jewelry, with headquarters in Philadelphia, USA. Mr. Lee serves as a director on the boards of both Bitsmedia and The 1916 Company.
Mr. Lee is also Executive Chairman of Charming Land Pte. Ltd. (www.CharmingLand.com), a real estate development firm positioned as the master developer of a 1,300-hectare integrated township in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Designed for a planned population of 150,000 with 45,000 jobs created, the township encompasses residential, commercial, and industrial zones. Charming Land specializes in large-scale, mixed-use developments emphasizing strategic land acquisition, master planning, innovative urban design, and sustainable development practices.
In the education sector, Mr. Lee is Non-Executive Chairman of St. Francis Methodist School (International)(www.sfms.edu.sg), a leading Christian international school in Singapore offering primary, secondary, and pre-tertiary education. The school is affiliated with The Methodist Church in Singapore and is known for its commitment to holistic development, strong Christian values, academic excellence, and the nurturing of a happy, caring community.
Mr. Lee’s charitable efforts include involvement with the Methodist Schools Foundation (www.methodist.org.sg), which provides financial assistance for facilities, programs, and support for needy students in Methodist schools throughout Singapore. He previously served on the Foundation’s Board of Trustees and presently sits on its Investment Committee. Mr. Lee also serves on the Fundraising Committee of The TENG Ensemble (www.theTENGcompany.com), a leading Singaporean Chinese fusion music group renowned for blending Eastern and Western musical traditions.
Mr. Lee began his career at J.P. Morgan and subsequently led the equities investment and trading business for Cargill in Asia, before founding CMIA Capital Partners in 2003. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the National University of Singapore.
