The Covid-19 outbreak has changed the lives of many around the world. The arts community, including TENG, has not been spared. Under the gracious sponsorship of The Fullerton Heritage as part of their corporate social responsibility efforts and support for the local arts community, TENG is pleased to take Where the River Always Flows online, in support of TENG Goes Digital. An initiative towards bringing TENG’s music to the public and communities in need via digital platforms, public donations for TENG Goes Digital will go towards helping TENG digitalise its content and paying forward the goodwill of its supporters by bringing music to beneficiaries such as dialysis centres, hospices and more.

Where the River Always Flows V will feature the signature fusion sound of TENG, reimagining the soundscape to preserve and innovate the heritage of Chinese music. Viewers will be immersed in both sight and sound as melodies fill the scene of The Clifford Pier while our host explores iconic locations around the hotels. Expect modern hits from the likes of Billie Eilish and Bruno Mars to traditional pieces arranged through The Forefathers Project.  In bringing together past and present, Where the River Always Flows V celebrates the rich heritage and multi-faceted diversity of modern Singapore, making it a fitting tribute to the country on its 55th birthday. And in the spirit of this year’s National Day Parade which focuses on celebrations at home, the digital concert aims to bring TENG’s unique Singapore sound across the island into Singapore homes.

“As a home-grown Singapore brand, The Fullerton Hotels and Resorts is honoured to be part of such a meaningful digital initiative, that will bring a unique Singapore sound to the world and show our solidarity with our country and our community during this season,” says Cavaliere Giovanni Viterale, General Manager of The Fullerton Hotels and Resorts.

Apart from enjoying the critically acclaimed work of TENG, audiences will be part of an online giveaway and stand a chance to receive exclusive TENG tote bags, music albums, dining privileges at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore and The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore and a grand prize of a 2-day 1-night staycation at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore. The mechanics of the giveaways are simple: audiences just need to like and share the concert during the premiere and tag The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore and TENG’s Facebook page. Most of the winners will be announced during the show itself, while the grand winner of the staycation will be announced a week later through The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore and TENG’s social media channels.
